I never thought a pic on ane person beating some other permanently with a spoon could be and then compelling. well.. I was wrong. I watched information technology the second fourth dimension today and, admittedly, information technology lost a bit on rewatch, was far more entertaining the first time I saw it, but it's nevertheless an entertaining x minutes.
A strange, immortal emo character that remotely resembles the killer from the Scray Movie franchise keeps hitting a random guy with a spoon. Attempts in seeking help from other people, such as constabulary, doctors or girlfriends cease up every bit unsuccessful as brute strength. Shooting the follower does nothing and neither does cutting his throat. He travels to deserts, ice deserts, underwater, merely the culprit stays relentless. So, all he can do for the terror to stop is wait until the spoon breaks to cease the misery. Or volition information technology? Excellent one-act
This short film plays on a horror movie scenario merely with a unique twist hinted in the title. It is a funny but also harrowing scenario. Imagine how annoying this must be!

Entertainingly cocky-indulgent
One never knows what to expect of horror shorts, whether they're fabricated for laughs or for scares. It'due south e'er a toss-up at all-time if they're going to be worth the fourth dimension we take to watch them, and the idea backside this one had me equally curious and skeptical. I'chiliad happy to say, though, that 'The horribly slow murderer with the extremely inefficient weapon' is an unexpected joy.
It's a very uncomplicated premise at play here, but writer-director Richard Gale takes it to the utmost extreme. At merely x minutes long, 'The horribly boring murderer' still feels similar it's about 5 minutes longer than information technology needs to be - and that'southward exactly the point. This is pure parody, exaggeration for comedic event, and no stone is left unturned. The short pokes fun at not just slashers, just cerebral psychological horror, bombastic activeness-thrillers, and more. And the overly excessive length - well, that's half the game!
This must have been so much fun to make. Gale'southward narration is amusing and entrancing, and the cast on screen is plain having a blast. That peculiarly goes for Brian Rohan as the ginosaji, the persistent, silent specter wielding the most uncomfortably feeble instrument; and Fay Kato, appearing as a garishly dressed mystic, adorned with fantastically grotesque makeup, and chewing all available scenery in her dialogue. And that'southward to say goose egg of the delightfully cool scenes that greet our vision, made ever more so by Gale's quick, pointedly curt editing.
The idea that we may some twenty-four hour period run across a full-length version of this brusque has me ambivalent, as I tin can't quite imagine a movie of any greater length could take the aforementioned constructive dial. Nonetheless, given the opportunity, I'd definitely watch it. In the concurrently, the ten minutes we make it 'The horribly dull murderer with the extremely inefficient weapon' is only a keen, funny treat, well worth the few minutes information technology takes to sentinel.

Funniest!
I saw this short at Fantastic Fest, and me and a friend of mine could not terminate laughing. And did not until the stop of the next curt, which was a flake rude I suppose, but we couldn't assistance it. The concept reminded me of the Family Guy system of joke, in which y'all beat it to expiry (literally) until it'south funny again...only in this, they get further than anything I've ever seen with that concept, and information technology just keeps getting funnier every bit they come upward crazier scenarios that would obviously have to take identify over the form of a x yr murder.
If you are anywhere and this is playing. Y'all need to brand it a priority.
I need a copy of it!

I desire more!
I saw this incredibly hilarious short movie today at the LA comedy shorts festival and information technology was the best of the mean solar day! The concept was perfect, the spoofy-ness of it was extremely funny and so were all the other jokes.
After watching it, my friend and I got to talk with the director and actors and we had a blast because they were very nice and their moving picture kicked ass.
I would love for this to be a full length picture someday, I simply couldn't become enough of information technology. I even saw that the managing director of it was wearing a T-shirt for this film and I wanted it! Not bad chore to all of the folks involved with this motion-picture show, keep it up and delight make this full-length anytime!

Admittedly hilarious and well-washed, dragged on a scrap
This short was hilarious, information technology covered all of the horror movie clichés and poked fun at them in clever means. From start to terminate I was at to the lowest degree chuckling; laughing out loud a couple times. Horror is my favorite genre and I'k too a huge fan of comedy, so trust me when I say this is a really well-washed and funny short that makes fun of all of the tropes surrounding horror nowadays. This did a much ameliorate chore than Killer Kart.
Though it did drag on a little bit, which I suppose was the thought just it got to a point eventually where it kind of got boring towards the end; they should've cut a few minutes off and condensed a few scenes a bit and it would've been perfect. The casting and special effects as well as the cinematography and writing were all on-point. Information technology's definitely worth checking out if yous're a fan of horror or comedy, as it's only 10 minutes long anyway, but that x minutes is chuck full of well-executed one-act.

Incredibly funny and extremely efficient...:)
A hilarious brusk that is not to be missed, with many express mirth out loud gags.
Following his other excellent brusque CRITICIZED, The Horribly Boring Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon, takes it'southward one principal gag and finds ingenious ways to keep the laughs coming...
It is besides very well shot, and shows that a lot tin can be achieved with only sheer imagination and hard work instead of coin (the film was made for under $one thousand, which is amazing!)
I hope to be seeing Richard Gale'southward twisted sense of sense of humor in a characteristic very soon.

Great, great, corking short film feel
I was suggested to watch this moving picture by a friend via internet, she said how funny it is, but when I heard the premise I started thinking that this might exist something forth the lines of "Epic Movie", boy was I incorrect. From the go become I was surprised to see that the movie has a beautiful cinematography, and when information technology came to special effects I was over again surprised information technology had really really god FX for such a small film. And the primary graphic symbol was so awesome, Paul Clemens did an outstanding job portraying this troubled person who is chased by a Spoony himself.
I would honestly recommend this moving picture to anyone who loves fun experiences, and is not a afraid to try something new. And I really really hope that Richard Gale has some large projects after this, I think he has the directing chops to make a lasting impression in Hollywood.

I was just looking at some movie news stuff when I saw the link to scout this short film. I had no idea what to expect since I had never heard of this hilarious brusk moving-picture show. Luckily I clicked on that link and later, I found myself laughing my caput off during and after watching The Horribly Irksome Murderer. The plot is then uncomplicated yet, since it is made to be and then exaggerated, it is then funny. I besides love the little extras on the YouTube channel and website too, specially Spoon vs Spoon and Save Jack Use a Giant Magnet and Habiliment Protective Wear and the Salve Jack intro. I waited the entire 19 minutes that the intro took to play and there was not i 2nd where I wasn't laughing out loud. It was just that funny. I would recommend this to anyone who likes horror movies, parodies, comedy, and people who tin take a good joke once more, and over again, and again, and over again, and once again, and again, and again, and again, and once again, and again, and again. Yous'll know what I mean when I utilise all of those over again's when y'all see this hilarious short film

Every bit of this week my film A LITTLE MOUTH TO FEED will take screened in two shorts blocks with THSMWTEIW, Philly's DANGER Later DARK and TORONTO After Dark.
Great brusk.
It'southward a peachy concept that goes for the jugular by not going for the jugular. Information technology really works because the filmmaker goes so far with such a simple ridiculous concept. I mean it hateful really, really goes for it beyond the realm of all sanity or reason and the result is brilliant.
I remember horror filmmakers are less competitive than other filmmakers, just still, if I'chiliad a "rival" shorts filmmaker screening alongside THSMWTEIW simply I'thousand compelled to get hunt for a homemade version of it on the internet months later on, meaning I'm still thinking most information technology, so you know it must be a great short.
Splendid concept. Fantabulous execution. Fantabulous brusque. I'd see information technology once again and once more ... and once again ... and again ... and once again, and again, and over again, and again, and - those who have seen it know what I'chiliad talking virtually.

Extremely "Inefficient" Weapon
This movie its swell, and even if the time of information technology its limited to 10 minutes, you can really enjoy it, and the story its based on hard work to obtain what you volition encounter in those 10 minutes, a must encounter moving-picture show! If you recollect that in 10 minutes non many tin can exist done in a movie, You are wrong, in this movie in 10 minutes yous volition see all steps which a normal have in 90 120 minutes! The work done i can say, it is a great work, and even if information technology seems to be 10 minutes, you feel that in 10 minutes you see a whole 90 minutes motion picture, considering the action its very good proportionate'd! Good chore they did! I may expect a new motion picture from same producer and for sure information technology will not disappoint me, or you!
